That’s how long it took to run faster than I ever had before.

In sport, we always talk about progress, but progress is not always a straight line. There are seasons where everything clicks, and there are years where you keep working without seeing the number you are chasing.

A personal best after 9 years means more to me than just the time on the clock. It represents patience, consistency, setbacks, comebacks, injuries, sacrifices, doubts, and still choosing to show up every day.

As athletes, we are often told that our best years have an expiry date. But sometimes your best performance is still waiting for you, as long as you are willing to keep believing and keep working.
